Pat Hegarty

Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Pat is a Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist who graduated from Deakin University with a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2020. Pat holds a passion for improving the health and well-being of his clients.

​

His focus is on exercise interventions and lifestyle changes to help individuals become healthier, more active, and achieve long-term positive change. Pat works closely with his clients from all walks of life, aiming to treat the person as a whole, not just the condition.

​

Pat has a strong interest in helping those with cancer, cardiac conditions, and metabolic disorders. He is dedicated to promoting the benefits of exercise as medicine, and works in a safe, welcoming environment at Geelong Rehabilitation Centre to help clients achieve their goals.

​

With a love for basketball, Pat also specialises in helping others return to sport after injury. He emphasises human connection and strives to bring positivity into every session.​

  • Chronic Disease Management: Cancer, Cardiovascular & Pulmonary disease, Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes.

  • Neurological Rehabilitation: Multiple sclerosis, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury.
